Woven Ways

Women's Retreat

Registration Closed

Join us for a day of restoration, nourishment and play in the company of women who deeply value their connection to Earth, our primordial Mother, and the way this connection influences relationship to self and community.

Women’s ways are woven with cyclical awareness. When women tune into the rhythms of their bodies and begin to deeply trust their intuition again, there is healing that happens across generations.

Living from the Womb, our creative life source, gives us the capacity to be with the wildness of change and bring forth the medicine that will nourish the soil and tend the seeds of possibility. Held by Nature, we are given space to tap into places long forgotten and craving our attention.

We can begin to listen deeper to what is calling us.

“Women are spinners and weavers; we are the ones who spin the threads and weave them into meaning and pattern. Like silkworms, we create those threads out of our own substance, pulling the strong, fine, fibers out of our own hearts and wombs. It’s time to make some new threads’ time to strengthen the frayed wild edges of our own being and then weave ourselves back into the fabric of our culture. Once we know the pattern for weaving; we can piece them together again. Women can remake the world. This is what women do. This is our work…If there is to be change, it will come from us. Right here, where we stand. Women were always the story-givers, the memory-keepers, the dreamers. Listen now to the land’s long dreaming. Do you see what it’s dreaming? It’s dreaming you.”

Sharon Blackie, If Women Rose Rooted.

Your Guides

We are women that have walked a lifetime of remembrance and healing. Our journeys are unique but our hearts are alive with reverence for the magic of life, love and creativity that lives within our wombs. We are mothers and caregivers, practitioners of healing arts and women of the earth.

Soil & Soul

Megan Mastel

Megan will share about traditional foods, herbs and plant spirit medicine to support foundational nourishment for a deeply embodied womanhood journey.

Megan Mastel (Megan Rae Wild) is a mother, writer and folk herbalist. She is the co-creator of Living Hearth, where she is a grower, forager and crafter of wild food and medicine, guiding others to learn and remember the wisdom of the plants as resilience for both body and spirit.

Body as Temple: Embodied Self-Care

Paige Haber

In the age of technology and automation, embodied self-care is radical. Using the framework of that as women, we hold all the elements (fire, water, earth and air) that exist in the outside world in our internal landscape. With that as a guide, Paige will introduce techniques of incorporating simple yet profound tools to nourish, while deeply connecting to your strongest guide- yourself! This class will heavily involve hands-on practice – no experience necessary.

Paige is a Healing Arts Practitioner who is deeply influenced by embodiment and seasonal cycles. After falling in love with the Upper Midwest, Paige discovered that place-based awareness is foundational to nourishing health of the mind, body and spirit. With training ranging from Thai Yoga Bodywork to Nordic folk medicine and her current studies in Ayurvedic Postpartum Support, she weaves her background to support her clients in their individual path to thrive and connect with themselves and the natural world.
